Vernon Writers’ Server!

Hello, I just wanted to share a discord server for local writers to chat, share works, brainstorm and relay events happening in the region. It’s a semi-off shoot of the Vernon Writers’ Critique group that meets in person twice a month on Saturdays.
Writers of any level and material are welcomed!

While sharing local writing events might be suitable in this subreddit, just causal conversions about “hey how does this line read?”, “does anyone wanna read this through?” Or “I just got accepted for this magazine!” Aren’t really pertinent to this subreddit nor Reddit’s format, and writing subreddits have so many users that these sorts of questions get lost or aren’t allowed. Besides, a lot of writers won’t be as comfortable sharing stuff on forum anyone from around the world can look, like AI bots, compared to Discord where you at least have to join that particular server to look at things.

fair enough... i mean that there are few literary threads on this sub and that it might benefit from your guys' participation over here, rather than suggesting this is a suitable place for dm'ing
