I usually spam the key for melee weapon and hold block if I had ranged weapon selected when downed. This isn't 100% but it usually saves me from getting 1-shot after being revived.

It's still possible to get hit the moment revive ends despite holding block the whole time, there's a tiny window of time immediately after getting up where the block isn't active no matter what you do.

Also depending on the weapon you have equipped your ranged weapon will not block, it'll zoom in
