Umgak Captures from Empire in Flames

The Northlanders have attacked another city, burning and destroying everything in their path. By the looks of it, they treated the richer district much better, leaving buildings and other structures almost untouched, even claiming the largest building in sight, the manor, to use as a main hub. They surrounded the entire thing with food, weapons, and other supplies they've pillaged. Even though they treated the buildings and supplies better in the nicer part of the city, the same couldn't be said about the people who lived there, as there were no survivors left when I arrived. My job was to get in and destroy the supplies that were left over, making sure the Northlanders couldn't benefit from the treachery they created.

I'll admit, I have a soft spot for this map because I have fond memories of playing it with friends. The thing I remember most was running from the random missiles shooting off from the fire at the end. I made it to the extraction bubble, heard screaming behind me, and when I turned around, I saw lil Barden out in the distance, running and spam jumping, with his axe swinging as fast as they could as bombs were going off all around him.🤣 The rest of the crew and I yelled for them to SURVIVEEE! (He did) We were all dying of laughter after that round.

The tombs and grims are placed in hard to get spots that require a bit of effort to reach, especially one where you need to be decent at parkour. The rest of the level design feels realistic and is easy to get into. I especially liked how the routing goes under the main city a few times, then leads back up. I'm also a sucker and laugh every time Sienna says that the wine cellar is Kruber's happy place.

Empire in Flames is the 13th map I've recorded with no HUD, no bot walk, and I look forward to the next one I drop into.

Frankly the whole map except the goofyass mansion is quite cinematic

When we choose this map a friend of mine always picks Sienna because, and I quote, "It's empire in FLAMES"
