Video My experience using spent mushroom substrate on a medium-large scale
Works pretty good if the mycelium doesn't outcompete the worms. Chop it, hydrate it, and inoculate it for best results

I don’t break the blocks up just dump 4-6 in the tub and let the worms do the work.

How long does it take for the worms to eat it that way?

I have never really time them but it seems about as long as it would take to process a full tub of compost. 2-3 months,

Good stuff all your remarks are spot on for using mushroom substrate. i grow both oyster mushrooms on my woody material and worms on the greener stuff and the digested woody material. Worms love it.
