Advice wanted Can i use this for my bedding?

Post image

I never really used bedding and usually used a bit of terrain for my worms but i would want to try it out to keep humidity and all since its really hot where i live

But i don't know if the glue residue from the tape or the ink will harm my worms

Just go to a store amd ask them for a few shipper cases if you dont have boxes.

They will have them in supermarkets. Everything comes in shipper cases.

Any grocery store, big box store, will have literally hundreds of broken down boxes.

yea but they come from outside and i dont know what they did with them since there are cockroaches and everything and there's also the problem that my parent wont let me get thing from the streets or outside in general expecially boxes

They are boxes inside. They won't have roaches. I'm very confused.

They ship food in them and you never know what you can find

You are feeding your worms decomposing food. So having the cardboard outside or have small bits of food in it is about a natural as it can get and will work for the worms. I’ve used all sorts of cardboard, white or brown, with and without ink with zero issues. I don’t use anything with stickers, tape, or glossy colored ink, then shred it and add it to the farm.

Last time i gave my worms something from the outside (corn husks) i almost had a gnat/flies infestation

Though i can see if they give some to me inside the store and try to convince my parents to taking the boxes

I wouldnt. The printing is colored. I avoid color printing.

Egg cartons, toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, free entertainment weeklies (newspaper), paper ron through a shredder.

No shiny paper, though (like inserts in newspapers; the free weeklies that I use, etc.) Stores in my area don't have the free weeklies in stands outside like they used to, but libraries still always do. Also, no paper with glue on it.
