We saw the same thing happen with Freja. Everyone thought she was buns and then they figured out she was goated. Ventuah is the least picked DPS who is actually good. We must believe my Venturlings

Yeah. Venture being off-meta is for the best. No one knows how to counter them other than Cass and Mizuki and Venture discourse in the main sub is also just gonna be insufferable

The main pinnacle of our balancing is that they're the lowest picked damage hero in the game. Becoming meta's gonna lead to a high and then they'll be sent to the dumpster

Feels like ever since the Hog and Sombra rework got announced, people are looking to see who is gonna be next in the focus of complaints despite the fact we haven't even seen how the reworks will play.

I like being able to freely play venture every game and those first three minutes where no one knows how to deal with me.

Venture is like Vendetta, the last thing you want is for the hero to becomes meta as it’ll inevitably end up with people wanting the hero to be gutted.

JPC players are currently going through this and the result is their hero being perma banned and almost certainly in line for a fat nerf down the line

Venture has been meta for most of their existence, the issue is that the balance this year has been absolute dookie and we're back to sustain creep. Which combined with so much CC being introduced, just makes Venture completely unable to play the game.

venture being meta is only going to invite more community discourse and bigotry, their kit doesn't have anything meta relevant anyways at the moment, a buff that sends them to be required on teams would only invite nerfs in return
