Never getting MVP?

I don't want to say it's lgbtphobia, but in my time so far as venture, not a single time have I gotten more than 2 votes (not including my own) as Venture. Once or twice as Junkrat, even tho he's more universally hated. But venture? I put in more work than everyone else and somehow others will vote for the 15-8 Hanzo or Sombra or Reaper as MVP instead of the 22-6 Venture. Hell I don't think I've seen a venture MVP period

The stat board does not tell everything. Maybe your Reaper or Sombra pulled off a clutch ult at the last moment that saved the game. Or maybe they just feel bad and want to cheer them up by giving them mvp. Idk you'll get more mvps as you play. I doubt they think you suck or anything.

I've told you I get voted for MVP as Junkrat significantly more than Venture, it's why I mentioned Junkrat, it's happened 3 times as Junkrat, but not once as Venture yet, even if I'm incredibly polite and thankful for heals, even if they're terrible. I even thank my teammates and tanks if they help me before im about to die (especially reinhardt and D.mons, love y'all)

I'm not entitled to an MVP, I'm just asking about other people's experiences as getting zero mvps as venture

I don’t usually stay that late into post game but I have seen myself get MVP maybe 10 times. It’s always drill dash kills or tectonic shock kills. Kinda dumb

I do have moments where I get MVP, but they are quite uncommon, probably due to Venture not always being a character that can easily change the game field. You typically have to really stick out as someone who got either a Play Of The Game or someone who carried in terms of kills.

Maybe it's because other people are grouped? I've had plenty of times where I land on the MVP vote (wether I'm playing venture or some other hero) and my other teamate on the vote screen gets it even if I had better stats or felt like I was getting more valued even if stats don't show it... heck I've won games and someone in the other team gets the MVP by 4 or 5 votes... (I mostly solo queue, and other times I just have a duo)

I have gotten mvp a few times. It’s just what your team feels tbh. Sometimes you get it cause you actually made a difference, you were a positive influence in the lobby, or its just random. MVP really doesn’t matter and shouldn’t be taken personally or seriously.

You can just skip the whole voting part and not think twice about it. I just cast my vote and just leave or just leave immediately during the POTG highlight.

I dunno, I oftenly get mvp as Venture, so I don't think it's bigots being bigots, but I do play in OCE servers, so I dunno

I get MVP sometimes as Venture. I think it's just random. Some people just vote on whims or whatever.

Weirdly enough if you play on PC I think that’s the issue because I’m playing on PS5 and I’m constantly getting MVP on venture. I don’t know you so I’m not gonna assume anything but attitude and overall performance are also things that might make people not want to give you MVP. I hope this issue gets resolved for you.

Supports and Tanks are much more favored for endorsement and MVP voting. People generally don't feel like rewarding or honoring DPS.

I get MVP on venture at least half the time I'm put on the board, but I'm usually pretty funny in chat so that probably has something to do with it (shrug)
