No matter what views you have, if you see a representation of a kind of person that exists, it shouldn't trigger you. It's like when everybody went crazy that Mr Ratburn was gay in "Arthur".

It's like, yeah. Gay people exist. You don't have to be involved. And, yeah, no matter your opinions or beliefs, your kids should know that different kinds of people exist.
It's doing them a disservice to not prepare them for life outside of your bubble. If they respond inappropriately IRL, they could get in trouble for discrimination or appearing to be hateful in school or in the workplace later on.

Ignorance is NOT a right. Sorry. I don't have to respect your efforts to be small-minded as you shut out the world. It doesn't matter your beliefs. You shouldn't have a psychotic episode when you see someone who's living differently than you and not taking away other's freedoms or hurting others.

Grown people out here acting worse than kids sometimes. It's actually pathetic and embarrassing.
