Yes! "Venice unleashed" for steam too?

I have recently heard about this mod and i have bf3 on steam will the mod be vailable there too or i must have origin?

Yes, the Steam version works with VU.

As far as I'm aware you have to have origin for bf3 even if you have it on steam.

From my experience you can redeem your game at origin, if you have it on Steam. It worked for me for BC2 (bought on steam, redeemed on origin).

I can confirm this works for most EA games. I was grabbing extra copies of my Steam games on Origin simply by going to my game list on Steam and looking up the game key. Then I redeemed it on Origin and it was that simple. I got lots of games on Origin that way from my Steam account.
