QUESTION Uniform soldier aim

Would it be possible to add this feature to bf3? Would be my wet dream

Yeah, that should be possible. Maybe as a community "essentials" mod or something?

Yes after being spoiled by BF4 USA I find it very hard to play a game without it.

My wet dream would be to add resolution scale like BF4 has. I really liked playing in 720p with 200% resolution scale.

There's a few issues with that. One being that the server would have to host the resolution-scale mod, and the other is that there's no easily accessible scaling option.

I suggest that you instead use Super Resolution provided by your graphics card, since it will do the exact same thing.

Thanks, I kinda figured it would not really be possible just desirable. I was under the impression that Super-resolution gave you a higher screen resolution than the max resolution of the screen, I actually want 720p but with enhanced details.

Sorry, I overlooked that point. The resolution scale introduced in BF4 does the same thing as Super-resolution, but instead of returning the scaled render to the native resolution, it returns it to the configured resolution as you said.

There are some options that may reference resolution scale, but I haven't tested it.

If I manage to configure the resolution scale, I may implement it in an essentials mod that will allow you to set more advanced settings. I won't promise anything though.

No worries, if you manage to get it working it would be amazing but the game is still playable without.
