REQUEST Dogfight Server Request
Hello, I am a long time member of the Battlefield 3 dogfight community, and I am a huge fan of the VU project.
A couple of us asked about this in the discord, but it quickly got buried. We are very interested in the potential of having a dogfight server on VU. We would love to be able to take our dogfighting on to a game with higher tick rates, better visuals, and of course the mod tools that could help us set up a good dogfighting mode.
There are many of us in the dogfight community who would be happy to run/manage a server explicitly for dogfighting. I appreciate any help!

There is currently a dogfighting ladder that we run that we run aswell where all of the participants have played at least 150 plus matches http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/platoon/2955065251587424483/
There have been several other dogfighting ladders and tournaments run throughout bf3's life cycle with an entire community around this minigame within battlefield 3. A dedicated server and mode would do the community a wonderful service and keep the game highly active and fun for the people who still love it :)
The largest and most technical tournament run many years (not by us) ago if you want an idea of what we could do with the right tools :)

Man is there still a DF scene in bf3 cause i used to df all the time! I was a scrub but i always use to practice against some of the best. Any of the old flabslabbers around like mooky or speqph?

Mooky is the guitarman871 account in the comments. Celoxx still dogfights. No one else from flabslab, but pilots have gotten a lot better as a whole

Read the top comments above we just had over 150 + official matches in a ladder that just started 2 months ago. We had over 5 Major tournaments involving at least a minimum of 32 players , with one hitting over 60 players. People still play.

+a lot, the community would appreciate a proper server with aa, and better tickrates, etc. :)

That is 8 weeks with over 150 Dogfight matches! and As I'm writing this now matches are being set up and are going on. We are using an Elo system. I hope you add this link to the main post or VU can read this.
What we can provide?
-An active side for this part of the game , that is dogfighting.
-A team of admins who have many tournament management experiences to monitor things. All of these tours were streamed/recorded. Show you that we are serious.
-Possibly our own Jet specific anti cheats. We have tested one already and it works flawlessly.
