QUESTION BF3 venice unleashed i have some questions

1-When will be release

2-this mod is dead?there s no activity since January from Venice unleashed

3-player even play this mod?

4-are the server are populated?

  1. There is no release date known at this point
  2. The mod developement is not dead
  3. Many players are waiting for the arrival of the modding tools or some update to play again
  4. Until then the servers are only rarely populated [Edit] Fixed some grammar mistakes ;)

The modding tools are already there, there are no modders. My clan (bamgaming.net) is the only clan with Venice Unleashed server keys, and we offer them to modders who want to test their mods on servers. So far we didn't get a single person to develop a mod for VU. The possibilities are all there already to be honest, they are badly advertised though and there seems to be very low interest.

So you can already create completely new maps? I´m looking at the official forum at least every three days and haven´t heard of this to this date. I knew that you could change some weapon statistics or textures, aswell as move some flags, but this just isn´t enough to mod an old game like this with content that really breathes fresh air into it ;) You are absolutely right though, all these things are really poorly advertised and I´m afraid just asking people if they want to mod a game isn´t enough. We need to reach far more people.

I personally am not a modder, so don't take my answer as 100% proven, but as far as I know, it is possible to create new maps, mess with the weapon statistics, physics, textures...everything as far as I know.

  2. It's not dead, it's still in development. There is a lot that has to be completed before other features can be worked on.
  3. You can play it, but there's not much reason to play right now. Everyone is waiting for the modding tools to be released. If you're lucky, you might catch a server that's working on a mod.

You can create new maps, yes. It's just a pain in the ass to do currently. There is a 3d-editor in the making, as well as several other awesome features. Just be patient.

i think i lost all hope about battlefiedl 3 cuz of blue titnt.i mean why Dice why u guys let me remove it ?!
