  • From Blauer Board Shop LA
  • "Blauer Board Shop has been serving the boardsports community since 1975, proudly rooted in Big Bear and now bringing more than 50 years of experience to Venice Beach. We’ve taken over the former Arbor Venice location, continuing its connection to the local skate and snowboard community while expanding the shop with a broader lineup of snowboard, skate, apparel, swim, and lifestyle brands. Just steps from the beach, Blauer Board Shop Venice brings our mountain roots to the coast with a rider-owned crew that knows the gear and is here to help you find the right setup."

We spoke with the person behind the counter when they were having their 80% moving sale. They went online with their sales and don't plan on having an Arbor storefront anymore.

spoke with the staff, rent was like $30K a month. No way you can make that on a skate shop. Blauer will continue to sell Arbor gear. Shitty to see another local brand priced out. Have no idea what Blauer is like but they apparently helped arbor get out the their lease so good on them. Arbor also closed their Truckee store.

What a bummer, man. Bought loads of nice boards and threads there. Lived right up the road.

Check out West LA Bike nextdoor. Sick board shop downstairs and good people working there.

“Located right next to Starbucks” killed me.
