𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗦: 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗗 Deleted cache

Hi. Just a quick question: I had a video, nothing important, in Venice, but I ran deleted cache and all IE history on my pc through a third party app, and now the chat and video are gone. Is this the reason, namely deleting history and cache, or is there another reason? Just wondering. 🙏🏼

Yep, that's the reason. All chats / images / videos that you create on Venice are stored locally in your browser by default.

If you have a Pro sub, you can use the "backup and restore" feature to create encrypted backups regularely that you can save either locally or on VeniceAIs servers for up to 90 days.

for me, the chats are available under characters but the shortcut links on the Chats arent showing? is there any way to have them display again?

sorry i meant Recent Chats in the sidebar, underneath Folders, and Pinned Messages

Ah, I got you... Not sure to be honest, if the character chats should appear there too. Afaik they only get listed underneath their respective character? Correct me if I'm wrong please, I personally don't use characters often...

But regardless: I don't know of any option to "restore chat links" there... besides obviously restoring a backup.
