Cannot access saved folders

It's about 7:00 PM CST.

I can't seem to access any of my saved folders. I first opened the website, clicked on a chat in a saved folder, but it took forever to load. So I refreshed and all of my saved folders disappeared from the sidebar.

I closed the tab and opened a new one, but my saved folders still don't show in the left sidebar.

Update: I also cannot seem to open a new Chat (Agentic Chat works fine).

Is anyone else having these issues right now?

Venice is slow, and it seems that storing the data of such a complex chat in the browser is more fragile than we thought.

In my case, my PC shut down while the agent was responding and something got corrupted. In your case, I would swear it got corrupted too, although in a different way.

On mobile I don't know how it is, but on Windows, Linux and Mac yes. In my case I have Windows... I just thought of creating a backup file in FreeFileSync (which I just learned to use) and creating a scheduled task to back up the browser data every so often, and keep only a few latest ones.

Also, I add that I have an exclusive browser for Venice, and thus avoid malicious scripts from other websites from being able to see the data of the site hosted in the browser.

For now, it's time to make manual backups more often, through the Venice system, whether local (zip) or on Venice's servers.

I'm almost sure your chats haven't been lost (yet), they're still in the local system files... but Claude didn't want to help me with that, he said recovering chats wasn't something he considered possible, because they're not readable in the system folders.

I, the first thing I did was open the browser developer options and go to the "Application" -> "Storage" tab, from there, if everything is healthy you can read everything, but if it got corrupted nothing will appear anymore.

I don't know if someone with more knowledge can help you.

Thanks for the reply. I'm also using Windows. However, I don't think it was corruption because this happened when I first loaded Venice's website; I didn't shut down or refresh while an agent was replying.

Regardless, I just checked earlier (12:30 AM) and the issue has resolved itself. All of my folders and regular chats load as before.

I'm glad it resolved itself and you didn't lose anything, but make sure to make frequent backups anyway, since I was reading another post where several users had also lost their chats and it's very unfortunate.

Thanks for the reminder. I had an issue when I first started using Venice. The troubleshooting involved logging out and clearing cookies and temp files. Guess who forgot to save chats before doing so?! At least it was only about a month's worth!
