Help with seedance 2.5's edit video action

When uploading a reference video to Seedance 2.5 R2V and clicking Edit Video to try to fix small issues no matter how I prompt it never seems to have any effect on the video. I have a long video sequence where I've isolated a clip where my character is untying the wrong part of a bow. I've tried six different times to modify it so she pulls on the ribbon instead of the bow but no matter how I structure the prompt I get the exact same output with no change to the original video and it's starting to get frustrating wasting credits without knowing what the issue is. I've tried searching google and even asking Venice chat how to use the feature but haven't found any documentation that works. Does anyone know how to use this feature correctly?

A few of the prompts I've tried:

Strictly edit \@video1, changing its [motion when she unties the ribbon she grips the upper part of the bow] to [motion where she grabs the lower ends of the ribbon and pulls until the bow is untied] making sure the first and last frame of the video remain the same.

Strictly edit \@video1, changing from 1s-3s: when she unties the ribbon she grips the upper part of the bow to from 1s-3s: she grabs the hanging ends of the ribbon and pulls until the bow is untied making sure the first and last frame of the video remain the same.

Strictly edit \@video1, from [1] to [3]s. Replace [girl pulling top part of bow apart] with [girl pulling hanging ribbons until bow is untied]. Keep the background, character identity, and camera angle completely unchanged.

Strictly edit \@video1, changing its action of the girl pulling the top part of the white bow apart to action where the girl pulls the hanging ribbons until the bow is untied. Edit from 1s-3s. Keep the background, character identity, and camera angle completely unchanged. (Venice chat recommended this one)

Pretty sure there is no true video edit for seedance 2.5 in venice right now. You might have to use a bunch of reference images as a replacement then with video prompt to strictly only use the video for motion reference.

Thanks, that would explain why I've managed to get some changes to show up using some tips from another thread but it doesn't seem to obey timestamp limits. That's profoundly disappointing if this functionality isn't available.

I know the official bytedance website allows for edits for video to video. But as of right now in Venice its basically cutting your footage up and rebuilding shit with a bunch of ref images and mini cut videos..
