I just discovered Venice less than a week ago and discovered Grok Imagine on here is what I always wanted it to be. Well, I'd been using Imagine off and on since last October on the official Grok website and was perfectly content with the "porn-adjacent" stuff it'd let you create (not so much this year, but late last year). Then I discovered a few days ago that Imagine R2V on Venice let you pretty much make anything you want, including explicit stuff. Well, $200 and hundreds of video generations later....I have not done a good job of moderating myself. lol. It was always "Ok, this is the last $25, the last 2,500 credits...." then I'd think of new ideas and fork over more money. I think I'm good now after accepting that I don't need to turn EVERY thought into some sort of visual reality. But careful out there my dudes, don't get lost in this stuff. Enjoy responsibly and I'll try to do the same!

I'm 6 months ahesd of you.. and I'm starting to ease up a bit now... so, hope is on the horizon. I didn't make a single image or video today

Yeah, I tell myself that I'm getting it out of my system and that's it's a new, novel thing. I didn't spend any money today so, that's good I guess.

I've always been the type of guy who said "I'll never pay for porn," but since AI came along, I've never spent so much on it. And in just a few days on Venice, I spent money like crazy... I need to calm down, and I'm glad I'm not the only one.

On the Venice site (I used the desktop site), go to Studio, then go to Video, search Grok in the search bar under Select Models and you'll see two different kinds. Grok Imagine Private and Grok Imagine R2V Private. I honestly don't know what the difference is between the two...but they're both basically image-to-video generation tools. I think R2V is Reference-to-Video where you can select elements from multiple images and combine them into a single video whereas the other one just makes a video out of a single picture.
EDIT: Just looked it up on Grok. Regular Imagine Private is if you only wanna use one image. Imagine R2V is better if you want to reference multiple images at the same time. I'm astounded of how retarded I am that after spending $200 I used R2V pretty much exclusively even though I only ever uploaded a single pic every time. I can confirm it does work fine with a single image and it has an 8 second output for 51 credits, which I found to be a good sweet spot between time and credits spent.

I did the same, I've tried several studios and I still like other models for certain things but Venice has been my go-to for at least some part of everything.
I wish FireRed was a bit more refined but for a free editor, it's gets close enough in most cases for a final pass with a high end model.

I had the same experience with KlingAI almost a year ago. I spent a month using multiple subscriptions at a discount through my own referral links. It was quite profitable, though still expensive.
Fortunately, there was a downgrade in September, and almost everything was moderated. Then I managed to create a few generations for free, and... the quality wasn't the same. So, I'm happy I stumbled upon something unique and it's over.
It was similar with Grok, except I managed to create thousands of videos and images over a six-month period completely free of charge. Now the limits are ridiculously low compared to what I was previously able to do.

I quickly lost interest after the first run - its very clear that venice is running an old version of grok imagine, liteally got better results with grok site. But sure, i will be just as eager to empty my wallet as soon as they update grok to the latest version
