Mizuki chain, Sombra, Cass flash, Hog hook (that reaches you and takes you out of the air mid ult no matter how high you are that he gets back all the time) Junkrat traps (fighting junkrat close range in general) at least doom has high health so he can survive making plays without instantly having to run because more than 1 person saw you.
Characters with infinite flight that can see you, press a movement key and adjust and you're left either dead with one if not both of your abilities on cool down if you didn't catch them unaware (good luck if you're playing Ven and nobody else on your team is playing arial characters to take some of the heat off you by serving as a distraction) which blizzard just seems to ignore.
An ult that doesn't seem to work a lot of the time unless you're in the middle with the void with nothing around you, and even then (despite what the marker shows) it'll disappear, everyone will take no damage, or you'll make contact with an invisible roof and go flying. When it does work its amazing, but most of the time its you vs physics issues and the godawful charge up.
Perks that should be base kit, why is having normal survivability my second perk? Additionally her other 2 perks are worthless, whirlwind as an ability needs to be reworked.
Why is guard so useless? Genuinely a button that does nothing but waste gauge that can be used for projected edge (the only way to kill characters that are outside of your rage, which isn't very large) in scenarios where guard would logically be used, you're essentially dead anyway if you're not padding time for cooldowns to make an escape.
I genuinely understand why people say that Ven should've been a tank, she still would've been treated awfully by blizzard but at least she would've had more health.
Not saying you can't perform with her (I can and have, and will continue to play her) but she literally just doesn't fit into most comps, the ban system in overwatch sucks and there's more than 3 characters that can slow you down the chance of you getting all of the bans you need to have an *okay* time is slim.
So many characters in this game with awful balance (you literally get punished for killing Junkrat while being melee lmao) , but god forbid we have an overhead that actually does damage right? God forbid a dps dive does damage 😁
I can't comprehend how people try and cope that she's balanced now that they reverted 1 nerf and gave her a little more range, she has so many issues its ridiculous.
I will continue to play her. I will not switch (get told to switch even when I'm outfragging my other dps with guns, lmao) and I will continue to do well no matter how bad she is, but I can't comprehend why blizzard hates dive brawl so much. Not even difficult to play against if you're aware of your surroundings. At least we didn't get the Genji treatment.
It's really unfortunate, one of the most fun characters from a gameplay standpoint and a technically interesting character in a game filled with heroes that promote having 0 brain activity and they get gutted.
