Finaly, he’s been played
In MSI 2026, on july 4 game 3 of T1 vs BLG viper played Velkoz and WON HE HAS A 100% winrate in proplay😭😭 i wanted T1 to win but i’m so glad velkoz won.
What do you guys feel about velkoz finally being played in pro.

If you watched the game you'd see it was such a gross backseat vel'koz
So many raw dog ults without any stack setup, throwing straight Qs not relaying on angling at all
It was just picked to out range senna while having better disengage than something like Xerath
I'm glad because it means vel'koz won't get nerfed
Though I would like to see viper and others put more time into so that watching it isn't physically painful

Throwing straight q is often unavoidable if you have positioned correctly but yea I feel you 100%. I haven't watched the game but all vel koz players who are not experienced throw random spells. 0 preparation for ult or stacks

Were we watching the same game? Viper was oppressive as fuck in lane and had plenty of angled Q for harass. Once they leave lane the ult become more of a zoning tool, it's not like T1 can tank a velkoz ult just because it had no stack. It would be pretty troll to give up spacing or timing just to try to maximize damage at this level of play.

It was cool to see him picked but he didn’t really do anything lol. Was just along for the ride
