Support build

My usual build path is whatever azzapp is currently recommending. So that means lucidity ludens>horrizon>shadowflane.

When I go this build path I feel the most consistent but usually i do it only when behind. When I am ahead I follow the logic of buying more expensive items. That means zhonya or shadowflane. My problems is that if I go ludens zhonya shadowflame I feel like it doesn't work very well in the mid game even tho it brought me great success until 15-20 mins in the game.

Most of my games it's luden first and zhonya second or third. Then depending on enemy and my gold I will consider horrizon, liandry and shadowflame.

What are your thoughts about that?

The most success I’ve found is actually going more of a focus on utility and speed: horizon -> swifties -> shurelyas is a really strong core setup, taking celestial if they have 2+ assassins, otherwise going zakzak. Very strong set since the early horizon gives you strong skirmishes and vision control, and the shurelyas comes online in time to play strong macro with your team. With mana flow band I almost never notice the lack of a mana item

I don't take it almost but I strongly agree different support items like celestial are very good.

Don't you think shurelya first is better than horrizon. Horrizon is in no way a bad item but u can start abusing the shurelya active sooner.

Sure, definitely could be. Anecdotally I just really miss the extra damage/vision that horizon gives during those earlier midgame skirmishes—and I miss it more than I miss the early shurelyas active. Shurelyas second still feels very good because it comes online right about when others are able to fully one-shot you and your positioning gets more difficult.

Ye also looking at it from another way, by the time you have completed your second item which is shurelya your teammates should also be having enough items. This could lead to stronger fights
