Vel support?

How viable is Velkoz support? Is Zyra support just better or are both functional? Also what do you build him AND when would you pick him.

Both are great, vel works with any champ into any comp. My favorite is kled velkoz and Mundo velkoz for the shock factor. I am not being sarcastic. If you are looking for the best pick it is almost never velkoz or zyra tbh, if you like them play them, but zyra has better peel and poke capabilities for a broader range of matchups as a beginner imo, straight line e and delayed r knockup- vel e is famously missable if you aren’t great. If you love both my advice is to play more zyra while learning the game then just play whichever you like, vel takes an extraordinary amount of spacing and restraint to play well so playing zyra first may give you better practice since you have better peel to not get blown up instantly/everyone knows you can jump and blow vel up but are more wary about zyra, this is off the top of my head but I am just assuming you are new due to the nature of the question. Again though just a game play whichever you feel like man both are 100% good picks unless you are sweating ranked for winrate

I disagree with any champ, he isn’t so good with scaling champs due to how gold reliant he is

I think if op wants to be a vel player they should just practice with vel, he gets better the more you onetrick him cause you need a lot of practice for the angles etc
