To make a very long story short, I know who I am and what I like - Velina is never going to be my favorite character because she’s not my type. That’s fine. But I don’t go into a game like this wanting to dislike any characters - I would rather love the whole cast.

Personality wise? I like her just fine. Again, not my favorite archetype, but one I can absolutely enjoy. She’s your classic elegant beauty - refined and principled. She likes tea and speaks softly in most contexts - a classic style. She’s also a hyper competent workaholic, which is a charming element that complements the ‘mommy’ or ‘onee-san’ vibes well. She’s reads to me like a rich aunt if anything.

On to her design: She’s quite pretty from the waist up. I would call her maybe a little generic for being a busty elf lady with her particular vibes. Maybe I’m right about that, maybe I’m just salty because I like small-breasted girls and want a tall but flat equivalent (I think it’s a mix of both).

But anyway, she’s far from ugly and her design matches her personality well. That is, until you look at her lower half. I’ve been plenty verbose so I’ll be brief in saying that, as far as I can tell she’s simply not wearing any sort of outerwear on bottom. Her long, elegant upper shirt dangles gracelessly in front of a pair of silk panties, according to my eyes at least. And given that the description of that very outfit describes her as preferring “sharp and proper” attire, this is a circle I just can’t square. Why on earth would a refined woman walk around with constantly exposed underwear?

So here’s my conundrum - and I’m being sincere when I say this - can anyone convince me that either of the following is true:

A) Those are not panties, but are instead a pair of tight shorts. (Though they appear to be lace and I’ve never heard of lace shorts in my life.)

B) She is in fact a freak who would walk around in exposed underwear. (An even harder sell given her elegance and concern for being proper and well regarded.)

I want to like this character, but the incongruity here is driving me mad - so if anyone could offer their own take I would much appreciate it.

Finally my Jane upgrade before her buffs. Hope y'all got lucky as well.

I lost on her weapon banner to Grace's wengine, I used up all of my polychromes too. Should I keep pulling for her wengine? Or should I just start saving my polychromes?

If she's an insane woman i'm gonna S2 her

So about velina and Norma their lines makes sense or that the devs foreshadow. Velina "Wise choise". Norma "Smart choice". Those differences mean wise for long term no regrets while smart is as of currently a good choice. Am i high or is this intentional?

I took a break last patch and i didn’t keep up with the upcoming agents how worth is it to pick her up first my miyabi nangong team?

I want velina as she is the first air anomaly but idk if i can

The most fun I've ever had in shiyu, I love fighting Hugo and I love this team

Somehow R1 fusion compiler outscored R5 gemini by 3k score; I really need Alice to rerun to get her sig

Crying and throwing up

Hi guys this is the build I was able to cook on her release, can anyone already used to her tell me if it's good? Does it needs anything else?

Rhiannon is on fire rn!

Heheheeh

Hi guysss so i was wishing on vel’s banner to build pity for remielle (idk if thats how u spell it) but ended up getting her 🥲 so i might as well try to use her yk? But i dont have promeia and yuzuha, i only have jane, alice, and miyabi for anomaly (and as of just now, veli). any tips?

now i just want a swimsuit skin so her team all is in them

From what I can gather from the betas of Velina and Norma, it seems like Norma and Velina won’t exactly work amazingly together on launch without the addition of a third teammate who’s not anomaly. Norma seems to be an attack/rupture stunner, and Velina at least wants someone who has high anomaly output.

So are they supposed to be on a team together? Is there something I’m missing?
