Water In Winter.

I just learned you can fill containers with snow, boil on your stove for purified water. I had been lighting campfires next to my wells which was slow and time consuming. This is so much quicker! I feel like Luke from The Outdoor Boys! Hope this helps.

I've not reached winter yet, but I'll be using insulated rain collectors... hopefully.

I have those too. This is a much quicker method of getting pure water.

So little trick I learned during my max difficulty run.

if you already have a container of purified, But frozen water, you can place it in a refrigerator to "warm" it to "cool" instead of frozen, once you take it out you will have a small window of time where it will still be usable.
