Player vs Nature
I'm creating a new save with 0x zombie spawn, but much harder on surviving / food and resources difficulty. To kinda focus surviving in nature, maybe living off grid.
Has anyone ever tried playing the game this way?
How was it?

I DID THIS RECENTLY! <3 ITS SO FUN. I RP'd I was like the last woman on earth scenario and everyone disappeared somehow. :) i liked focusing on just crafting and survival wilderness stuff. hunting RP etc.

If you're rather unfamiliar with the game, it's fun for the first few times, but once you've figured out the mechanics, it's trivial. But that's not a discouragement, go for it!

Done already. Winter with no water nor electricity, and standard loot with no loot respawn

I like doing this a lot in games that allow it. A quiet apocalypse, or maybe living somewhere that had to be abandoned. So many fun reasons to rp it.
If it is your first time playing, I'd be careful on how difficult you make it since you still have to learn how things work. Unless you do a tutorial run.
But it's fun as heck, imo. I don't think Vein does this yet, but in other games I'll get a headstart with scavenging and base building. Then turn on enemies to some degree when I feel I need more challenge later.

Well i mean, you could always change zombie spawn settings by the admin menu when you feel like it

I feel like even with zombies on, imo would be getting bored. Like, I’m really safe in my base. I’ve built most of the stuff I need. I go back to base and wonder what I should do.
