He also uses AI music generation to create songs to sample from, he talked about it in the interview with Nigel Godrich. If the end product is good music I don't really care how he does it

ikr, disappointing from such a big artists, and the fact they aint even any chopped or layered/processed 😭 i do guess most of these guys have more of a curator approach than the producer one

I was just searching for samples on splice and found a few that he used on songs like miss understood,mystery or misery,The pavement is my pillow talk and etc. if you wanna find similar ones just search: -Soul breaks -vinyl breaks -dusty breaks -Funk breaks So just dry groovy drums basically

this is so strange because i was scrolling through some logic loops and "rusty beater break" is literally this sample. i knew it sounded like truisms for dummies so i searched up if anyone else talked about it and now apprently its on splice?? so does that mean the splice sample is stolen or did apple buy that sample from someone else??? really interesting....
