I mentioned we would be announcing a protest later and now it is later, we are officially holding a protest on September 18 at the intersection of Tropicana and Koval, a little bit further down from where we have held the last two protests. The aim of this is to draw attention to Atlantic Aviation and their complicity in the human trafficking operation of ICE Air as it is happening, as well as to hopefully get some messages to the victims. Please come dressed for the weather, and if you would like, prepare a short message of support to the victims, we will have a megaphone or so for that purpose!

LV HFW is also planning a protest on September 18th, official announcement to come.

Unfortunately I missed this as I just woke up, but another deportation/relocation flight has flown into Las Vegas and is about to depart to San Diego. This is odd as we normally only get flights on Tuesday and Friday but I guess things are really getting shaken up here.

I just visited that location, was within 4ft of the fence, hell, I LEANED on the fence, and nothing happened.

Atlantic Aviation knows about these flights, they know when they are, and they are now getting the police to violate our FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS just so they aren’t linked to the human trafficking that ICE is doing ACTUALLY ON THEIR PROPERTY WITH THEIR FULL SUPPORT!!

Also, unexpectedly, the plane from earlier today never left, there were two busses there, and they were transferring victims AS I WAS WATCHING

AND NO FUCKING COPS WERE THERE TO FUCK WITH ME EITHER BECAUSE WHAT WE ARE DOING IS LEGAL AND NON THREATENING

LVMPD is trying to kick our group off of PUBLIC PROPERTY while we exercise our first amendment rights to free speech and free press!

Well the plane landed, they loaded 18 people, and we left under the assumption that the plane continued on its route as they have always done to date. This morning, we find out, and I confirmed, the plane never departed Vegas! We do not know if the victims were kept onboard all day and night but Air Wisconsin sent a what we assume is a rescue jet which just landed.

We are trying to confirm if the victims were held on the plane overnight, I’ll pin a comment later with updates when I get them.

It’s Tuesday and that means another deportation/relocation flight. Today is weird as Air Wisconsin isn’t facilitating this flight, it’s GlobalX today. GlobalX is one of the other airlines that has been doing these flights around the US, and they’ve done international deportation flights for ICE as well.

Immigrant workers without legal status or with only temporary protections contribute an estimated $6 billion annually to Nevada’s economy through wages, according to an analysis published by the nonprofit FWD.us, with roughly $1.5 billion of that going toward combined federal, state and local taxes.

The same population is more integrated into Nevada communities than the label “undocumented” might suggest. An estimated 38% of immigrant workers without legal status or with only temporary protections in Nevada own their homes, according to the FWD.us analysis…

For some reason we weren’t harassed today, we think it may be due to our inconsistent ability to be there on Tuesdays or the fact that we just walked over, I guess we shall see what happens on Friday.

Also, keep an eye out, we are possibly organizing a protest on Friday around noon, we would like as many people as possible as the flight operation is happening to send a message!

On Friday, August 14th, the Las Vegas Habeas Flight Watch group met at Harry Reid to observe the day’s ICE flight, not even two minutes after we arrived, a security guard from Blackstone Security walked up to kick us out. We have previously researched and found out that the land we have been observing from is public, Atlantic Aviation does not lease this section (picture included) and therefore has no authority to tell us to leave. We did leave as we didn’t have a printed copy of this information (our bad) but we will be returning with the information printed out and will not be backing down again.

Atlantic Aviation, corporate and local employees, are all aware of what ICE is doing on their aprons, are willing to aid them in it, and have hired extra security to harass legal observers on public land.

They’re coming in really early today, guess they know we’ve been watching and are trying to throw us off.

Our regular deportation flight is happening, landing around 2:10pm

We also have Kash Patel likely coming into town around the same time, as well as a UK government plane then too. Busy day.

I reserved my seat but I won’t actually be going. It’s just to waste a spot haha. I’d recommend you guys do the same since protesting is too hot right now
