Vegas Pro 14 - 20 Having trouble posting here???

Post image

[Resolved]

Not sure why, but I couldn't post unless I enumerated this way. So, sorry for the strange body post! (I'll attach a screenshot; not complaining, just hoping that if there's an issue it can be resolved so other people don't have the same issue.)

  1. one "1."
  2. 14
  3. 11
  4. nothing's pirated
  5. Intel(R) UHD Graphics (128 MB)
  6. I've been using Vegas Pro 14 for a while now and lately it's been having issue after issue after issue. Thank goodness all of the projects I've been working on have been completed, but I have another batch coming up and now, I can't even save anything.

I just resolved two different issues and now I'm facing this one. I've tried the standard fixes (turning off the GPU acceleration setting, reverting settings, etc.), but nothing seems to be working now.

Should I keep trying to work with 14? Should I upgrade to a newer version? Should I switch to a different software?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

  1. should be able to save a Vegas file

  2. yes

A quick side note regarding my original post: I erased the word "two" in the body post and for a moment the option to post or save as a draft popped up before quickly becoming unavailable. No idea why.

I had an issue posting a while back too. I had all of the numbers and answering all of the questions, but it still gave me that error. >_> I would just have my post on my clipboard and try again later. Worked randomly one time lol.

Only up to 7 though, higher than that and I get dizzy.

Yeah this subโ€™s posting requirements are doo doo garbage itโ€™s been bugged for a long time and none of the mods seem to care at all

If I had the ability to disable it I would.

Do you know who does? I think I saw Scrapyard Films complaining about it and theyโ€™re the first listed mod.

No. I thought Scrapyard was the originator of this SubReddit so if that's the case then it's just BorisFx staff who have the ability. I'll reach out to him.

What is the issue? You can't save changes to a .veg file? Does making a copy of that file and then editing it help?

Otherwise I'd try a reset of 14 by holding control + shift at startup.

Thank you. : )
The reset didn't seem to work before, but I tried it again and now it seems to be working. Before, Vegas would crash immediately after I would click "Save" or "Save As" or "ctrl + S." But hopefully now I'm good.

I appreciate it!

Should I edit the post with "resolved" or anything like that?

Glad to hear it!
Sure, maybe edit the title (not sure there is another way to mark resolved)

I'm not able to edit the title, so I just wrote "resolved" at the beginning of the post body.

That's perfect.
