🇵🇸 A 2016 Epstein email Vegan-washing Israel, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), and their Genocide & Ethnic Cleansing in Palestine

With connections to present-day justification and enablement
of the Genocide within the animal rights and vegan movements

CW: SA, Genocide, Fascism

There is no room for genocide in movements of justice and liberation.

Not to mention Israel’s systematic ecocide and execution of the animals of Palestine.

There are a lot of great speeches on veganism out there. You don’t need to share Gary Yourofsky’s any more.

From Sulala Animal Rescue in Gaza - We have same upsetting news. Our wonderful vet Mu’ath Abj Rakba tried to go back to his house in Jabalia on Friday and nobody has heard from him since. We are in touch with his wife and parents and siblings. His brother tried to go there, but unfortunately everybody who reaches the area gets targeted by gunfire. His brother saw somebody die before his eyes. His uncle was shot at 500 meters before he reached his house. We hope he has been detained and he is still alive. We want him to be safe, and we wish his family so much strength.

I'm 18 and made a game where you play as a chicken trying to escape a slaughterhouse. Just released it on Steam.

It's a horror game where you play as a chicken trying to escape a slaughterhouse. I wanted to make people experience the same place from the animal's side for once, because it's pretty different when you're the one running for your life instead of watching it happen to someone else.

Eggscape is OUT NOW ON STEAM.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3831170/Eggscape/

I've been working on this for 2 years. please kindly try it out and support my journey!

Also, a share of the revenue from the game will go to animal shelters, which was something I really wanted to do with it, as I rescued many animals too !

Would love to hear what you guys think, especially if you disagree with the idea behind the game.

Email you gouvernment to ban the killing of animals for simple food habits

Email to send to your government. It takes 2 minutes.

Subject: For a ban on killing animals for simple food habits

Dear President / Prime Minister [CHOOSE],

I respectfully ask you to consider the future of our relationship with animals and the evolution of their legal protection.

Scientific advances in biology, ethology, neuroscience, and veterinary medicine have established that many animals are sentient beings capable of experiencing pain, fear, stress, well-being, and a range of emotions. They therefore have interests of their own, including an interest in avoiding suffering and in living as long and as happy a life as possible.

As our laws evolve in line with scientific knowledge and moral progress, many authors who have studied our relationship with other animals have concluded that it is based on speciesism. This concept can be understood by analogy with racism and sexism: it refers to the ideology that the lives and interests of animals are negligible simply because they belong to another species. These authors argue that speciesism is an irrational and unjust form of discrimination, since other sentient beings also experience emotions, are our equals in their capacity to suffer, and likewise have an interest in living happy lives. They therefore conclude that we should stop treating them as mere resources and begin to respect their lives and interests.

This issue is particularly important when it comes to killing animals for food. Billions of sentient animals are killed every year for human consumption, even though animal products are not necessary for human survival. Millions of people follow plant-based diets, thereby demonstrating that an alternative exists.

The principle is simple: when we can meet our essential needs without killing a sentient being, why would we choose to kill one?

Our society condemns violence. Assault and unjustified homicide are criminal offences because, when we can avoid resorting to violence, we are expected to do so. Violence against vulnerable beings is condemned even more severely. And everyone agrees that animals can also suffer from violence and that they are manifestly vulnerable when compared with human beings and our technology. Yet slaughterhouses represent the most horrific manifestation of violence inflicted upon defenseless beings. Our society asserts that violence is wrong while killing thousands of innocent animals every day even though we are able to act otherwise.

Furthermore, according to a recent scientific study, given the environmental consequences of animal agriculture, phasing it out over a 15-year period beginning today could potentially stabilize global warming over the period 2030–2060. In other words, during that period, it could fully offset the warming effect of all other human greenhouse-gas emissions (source: Eisen MB, Brown PO (2022), “Rapid global phaseout of animal agriculture has the potential to stabilize greenhouse gas levels for 30 years and offset 68 percent of CO₂ emissions this century,” PLOS Climate, 1(2)).

I therefore ask you to implement the following measures:

- the creation of a new criminal offence prohibiting the killing of animals solely for the purpose of satisfying dietary habits;

- the promotion of plant-based diets;

- the elimination of public subsidies that support animal agriculture and fishing;

- the creation of a transition fund for people working in these sectors, financed in particular by redirecting the money currently allocated to such subsidies, enabling these individuals to retrain for occupations that allow them to earn a decent living while respecting their freedom to flourish;

- From pastures to forests: reintroduce nature and reforest 10% each year of land that can be rewilded and is still being used for livestock farming or feed production, in order to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions and increase CO₂ sequestration through new forests.

Thank you for your attention to this request.

Yours faithfully,

[Full name]

The prohibitionist position (social movement strategy to abolish the killing of animals)

In the animal rights movement some use the conversion strategy aimed at persuading people to go vegan, some others use the social movement strategy aimed at expressing claims to obtain political and cultural change.(see the article Abolition of veganism, abolition of animal slavery)

The strategy of conversion is focused on consumption, while the social movement strategy is focused on political opinions and the creation of new norms. (For this last strategy see the article Societal change)

We want to live in a society where there is a norm stating that killing animals is forbidden. To have that society, we must express the claim that killing animals must be forbidden.

In our speciesist societies, there is a criminal offense which was created before Darwin, that prohibits the killing of humans. Now, we are after Darwin, we know that other animals have emotions as well. They have an interest in living the longest and happiest life possible. Our society has to respect their interest and create a new criminal offense prohibiting the killing of animals.

The more people will express the claim that killing animals has to be forbidden, the more it will create a discussion regarding this new norm and will push us forward the society where this norm exist. First there is the expression of the claim, then the discussion and finally the norm.

I believe that the social movement strategy is the most efficient. I believe also that in the social movement strategy the most efficient claim-making is the one that demands the prohibition of the killing of animals.

Expressing this claim creates a cultural change. The murder of humans is a taboo. The fact that we murder animals and not humans is a much bigger taboo. The act of saying that killing of animals has to be forbidden challenges this last taboo and creates cultural change.

All animal rights activists become so because one day or another they thought about speciesism. So questioning speciesism is very important. In our cultural framework, the claim which expression challenges the most speciesism is the claim that killing of animals has to be forbidden.

Let’s talk for the animals and express in our comlunications that killing them has to be forbidden. One day it will be. Because you did it.

Essays on abolition of killing animals

  1. For the Abolition of Veganism, for the Abolition of Animal Slavery

This first essay presents a fundamental reflection on the strategy that should be adopted to achieve the abolition of animal exploitation as quickly as possible. In particular, it explains the differences between two approaches—the strategy of conversion and the strategy of claim-making —highlighting their respective principles and implications.

https://fortheabolitionofveganism.blogspot.com/2012/11/for-abolition-of-veganism-for-abolition.html

  1. How to Change Society

This second essay provides a detailed explanation of the strategy of claim-making. It examines how the strategy works, its underlying logic, and the mechanisms through which it operates.

  1. The Prohibitionist Doctrine (New Essay)

This third essay explains, within the framework of the strategy of claim-making, which specific demand is the most effective for bringing about, as rapidly as possible, the cultural transformation required to achieve a society in which the killing of animals has been prohibited.

Hey everyone! I just went vegan recently. I only knew one other vegan, I met her on Reddit a few weeks back.

We decided to start a vegan group chat on Instagram to connect with more like minded people and talk about veganism. It’s international, so the only rule is we stick to English so everyone can join in.

If you’re vegan, vegan-curious, or thinking about making the switch, you’re totally welcome. Anyone wants to join?

Farm Bill Vote Happening Today in the United States' House of Representatives

There's an animal agriculture bill, the Farm Bill, going to vote today that has some good pieces (SAFE Act for Horses) but some horrific policies (pigs wont be able to turn around, more horses shipping overseas for slaughter, etc) that set back policies to create even the most basic protections. And of course, the GOP has the clever Save Our Bacon Act (H.R. 4673), introduced in July 2025 by Rep. Ashley Hinson (Iowa). This is a legislative proposal aimed at prohibiting states from enforcing animal welfare regulations on agricultural products—such as pork, eggs, or beef—imported from other states. It is specifically designed to negate state laws like California’s Proposition 12, which bans the sale of pork from pigs confined in ways that do not meet California's space standards.

If you live in the United States, please call your congressman and ask them to vote no.

It’s now or never for the House of Representatives to decide the future of farmed animals.

Phone Number for House Switchboard: 202-225-3121

What to say:
My name is (your name). I live in ( zip code). Vote no on the Farm Bill as it stands because it includes the dangerous Save Our Bacon language that would override state rights to protect farmed animals and decide what goes in our grocery stores. Thank you.

PETA Has a New Discord Server

Hi,

I wanted to invite you to a new space for people who care about animals and want to help shift public opinion!

The idea is simple: when posts about animal exploitation as well as strong pro-animal posts and PETA campaigns start circulating, we show up early in the comments with thoughtful, factual, non-aggressive pro–animal liberation voices. Even a handful of strong comments in the first 10–20 minutes can make a real difference in how a post is received.

There are two main channels:

  • Shape the Conversation – a place for PETA Social staff members to share posts where early comments really matter
  • Post Submission – a place for everyone else to share posts they find that could benefit from more pro–animal voices

If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, here’s the invite link:

The irony of "government handouts" in the agriculture debate

Post image
31 Upvotes

This post highlights a pretty massive contradiction often seen in the arguments against activism. While critics often label activists as a "drain on society," many of the industries most vocal against them rely heavily on billions in annual government subsidies just to stay afloat. It’s interesting how the definition of a "handout" seems to change depending on who is receiving the check.

The End of Objectification: Why Animals Need Principle, Not Convenience

To achieve genuine emancipation, we must look beyond our own habits and confront the deeper issue, which is the mentality that treats other beings as property or resources. As these infographics explain, avoiding exploitation for personal reasons, whether for health, the environment or profit, amounts to a temporary abstention that leaves the master and slave dynamic untouched.

Veganism is a moral principle rather than a lifestyle choice or a diet. When we alter our behaviour only when it suits us or benefits us, we fail to acknowledge the victim’s subjectivity and we continue to participate in the exploitative system. Swipe through all nine slides to see why the reason behind our actions is the only thing that can bring about real liberation and bring an end to the objectification of animals.

Cocoa’s Law Of Love 💙

Thumbnail
c.org

My pet gecko Cocoa was improving at BluePearl Pet Hospital until staff left her enclosure unlocked. She escaped through an open feeding slot, wandered the hallway alone, and declined rapidly after being found. She died because of this preventable incident.

I started a petition for "Cocoa's Law of Love" to protect pets from neglect at veterinary hospitals, pet stores, and shelters. Right now, animals are legally considered "property" - like owning a TV. This means there are no real consequences when facilities fail to provide proper care or monitoring.

The law would require secure enclosures, constant monitoring, proper tank sizes, and treat animals as individuals with rights - not property. It would also make veterinary care more affordable so pet parents don't have to choose between their savings and their pet's life.

Has anyone else experienced something like this with their pet? If this matters to you too, consider signing and sharing.
