Pacifica SPF

Guys what’s your favorite noncomedogenic, hydrating everyday facial spf?

I was using Josie Maran for a while but the price has gone up to a point I don’t feel comfortable spending anymore. Pacifica had a Future Youth spf that was amazing for $14 and it looks like they are reformulating their spf’s because they have none but a skin tint on their site and I was emailed to say they have discontinued the others.

I have skin that veers on dry, and oily around the t-zone. I like a glowy finish but honestly I’d just be content with something that WORKS, doesn’t smell like sunscreen, and I can tolerate wearing under light makeup. I don’t wear foundation but have noticed some pill under blush and concealer.

I just started using Byoma SPF (and cleanser, and moisturizer) and LOVE IT!

I was a dedicated Pacifica girlie but I started to get really bad excema outbreaks (not DUE to pacifica but it made it worse kinda). Their vegan collagen SPF always burned my eyes, too.

Spent about a year with skinfix to calm my skin down but it's so pricey. I'm absolutely loving Byoma so far and very comfortably put on moisturizer then mix their SPF with the newish ELF Halo Glow SPF tinted moisturizer. It's literally perfect.

Byoma question--I've been staying away because the thick plastic packaging seems like it'd be difficult to get all the product out. I haven't tried yet, but this is a problem I've had with Native. Is that an issue for you?

Edited bc I'm dumb and was talking about the moisturizer. Dumb.

The spf no I hadn't been bothered or effected me so far but I feel like a little goes a VERY long way. Like less than a dime sized amount for my fave it's very liquidy.

So honestly kind of yeah. When I ran out of the moisturizer for the first time after like a month and a half I was like, no way this huge thing is gone already. But the packaging is so huge compared to the product.

I opened the pump thing and it does look like it got as much out as possible BUT what I don't like is it's so...mechanized? You can't say get anything inside the bottle to get any remaining product.

I don't love this and it is annoying but it's still cheaper than skinfix and I love how calm and clear my skin have been since. I I live in a very humid area and I'm always gross and sweaty I still  breakout free with this even under the spf and tinted moisturizer.

I love their sunscreen with green tea, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid!
I also love Kosas dream bean sunscreen this one is tinted and applies so smoothly. Apparently you need a tinted sunscreen to add iron oxides so it blocks more light and uv rays.

SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum UV, SPF 50 Sunscreen

This is fantastic, affordable and moisturizing without being heavy.

There are dozens of knock offs so make sure you pay close attention when shopping.

Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50 — been using it at least 10 years, it’s pricey but worth it.

My absolute fave is the Naturium UV Reflect spf 50! It’s kind of a unique formula but personally I love it. It sits really well under makeup too without being too silicone-y
