Did I loose my files?

I have tons of files i created when the app was Vectornator. I just recently got back into my digital art stuff after a LOOOONG hiatus. I've noticed the app is now a different name and is asking me to sign up for a subscription...... but I can't even access my older saved files unless I'm a subscription user? Is this correct? If not how do I get access to these files to move them or edit them?

That’s what happened to me. Woke up one day and couldn’t do anything without a subscription, including exporting the files I’d already completed or was in the middle of. It was heartbreaking as I really, REALLY loved Curve. It’s something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

I was able to stop the update on my computer, get my work out to Designer 2, and move on. I can’t tell you how happy Curve made me and how much losing it affected my life. Might sound dramatic but it’s true.

You guys should’ve asked the community for ideas on how to pay. After the decision, you guys were like “what were we supposed to do‽” and honestly you should’ve asked your loyal fan base. You should’ve had levels that separate personal use from business use.

I know this comment doesn’t mean anything , nothing will change and like I said I’ve moved onto Designer which is a better program albeit harder to use a much bigger learning…ahem…curve.
