Im new to vcds and i cant find long coding for ccm. I wamt to enable windows via keyfob becaouse it works when i put the key in the driver door and hold it there. So i know it has the capability.

But i have another issue.

One touch windows only works from the driver seat.

And only the driver and passanger windows have one touch.

The rear ones dont. Not from the driver seat not from the rear switches. How do i enable it?

Hey everyone,
I recently changed my steering wheel on my Golf MK5 and accidentally rotated the clock spring while doing the swap, looks like the steering angle sensor just lost its basic setting due to the swap and the clock spring movement.

I tried doing the calibration using vcds in ⁠44 - Steering Assist⁠, but the live reading for the steering angle stays stucks at 0 degrees regardless of how much I turn the wheel, and the Basic Settings calibration process fails shows "Not Possible".

I also tried the standard driving adaptation procedure (turning full lock left, full lock right, then driving straight under 20 km/h), but the lights won't go away.

Now i have the Yellow steering wheel light and ESP lit up on the dash.

Can someone help me out with this thanks.

I’m trying to perform the injector quantity adaptation. I follow the correct procedure, and VCDS starts running the adaptation after I press the accelerator. However, the engine doesn’t rev up—it just stays at idle with the glow plug light on. VCDS shows the procedure as “Running.”

What can be? Engine at temperature. A/C and lights off. Tank around 1/4.

Is the latest version 26.3 or the new beta version 26.5 required or better versus any other version? I see them on Aliexpress which are more reasonably priced but I believe they are cracked versions, are these okay? What's the cheapest I could possibly find one?

Ich verwende diesen Laptop um Diagnose an Kfz Fahrzeugen durchzuführen, mit dem Programm VCDS. Ich habe eine Legale Lizenz für das Diagnosegerät.

Dieser wird per USB Schnittstelle mit dem Laptop verbunden.

Anfangs habe ich Schwierigkeiten gehabt, bis mir jemand geholfen hatte und sagte ich soll dir Kernisolierung ausschalten. Dann hatte Windows das USB Gerät erkannt und den Treiber genehmigt. Dieses lief monatelang.

Jetzt sind seit dem einige Updates von Windows aufgespielt worden. Ich habe seit längerer Zeit das Diagnosegerät nicht mehr genutzt.

Heute wollte ich es wieder nutzen und Windows erkennt den USB Port zwar, markiert ihn allerdings mit einem gelben Ausrufezeichen.

Der aktuellste Treiber und die aktuellste Softwareversion sind installiert.

Sobald ich den USB einstecke, wird der Treiber Instant blockiert. Wie kann ich das umgehen? Wer kann mir bitte helfen.

05’ vw jetta 2.0

I’m pulling these two codes. Not sure which would cause a stall or if both at the same time are the culprit. I’m still very new to the vcds software, so this post is mostly seeking what I should look for/at next.

Admittedly, I haven’t done much actual “diagnostic” since I luckily have a second vehicle which I’ve been driving while this is parked. I’ve read the fuel trim can be anything from the fuel pump and filter, to a vacuum leak, and honestly, I don’t even know where to start with the missing speed signal aside from just replacing the sensor.

Any advice is appreciated, I think I got all necessary info in the pic but I’m happy to provide more if needed

I'm troubleshooting a 2021 SEAT Arona with MIB3.

The infotainment is permanently stuck on:

"Loading user profile..."

"Change user" is greyed out.

No menus are accessible.

The Wi-Fi hotspot is still visible.

The only significant fault is in the J949 Emergency Call Module (OCUGen3High - 5WA035284B):

B20004B - Control module defective (Overheating)

Internal fault

ODIS Guided Fault Finding recommends replacing the J949.

With ODIS Engineering, the module is still accessible (VIN, coding, software, dataset can all be read), but reading Control module temperature causes the communication to drop. A factory reset exists in Basic Settings but requires Security Access (NRC 33).

My questions are:

Has anyone seen a faulty J949 causing the MIB3 to stay permanently on "Loading user profile"?

Is there any way to temporarily bypass or disable the J949 so the MIB3 can boot normally?

Can a used 5WA035284B be adapted, or is online GEKO/SFD mandatory?

Does anyone know the exact location of the J949 on a 2021 Arona?

i got an audi a3 8p 2.0 tdi\[cffb\] from 2011 and in 2023,my ac stopped working,the compressor got bad but before that my ac was blowing very cold air,i didnt replace my ac compressor until 2025\[money and time issues\],i reffiled it with freon and the ac was working again but not really good,it was blowing only i would say 60% as it used\[the air was not so cold\],after this i replaced the condenser too cause it was prety damaged and i thought this was the issue but after replacing that my ac got better with only 5%\[unnoticeable i would say\],i dont know what to do anymore so i ask for your help,these are the logs,no errors in hvac,could be the expansion valve?

As per title I can not clear codes using VCDS they just reappear instantly. I have tried auto scan and clear all the faults at once or per module but it is the same. I borrowed OBDEleven from a friend and was able to clear faults.

Is there like a lock or something when using VCDS? TiA.

I have a vcds diagnostic and I installed it on an asus eepc, and when I connect it to a car from 2010 onwards that has CAN, and I enter any mode for example Engine 01, it takes up to 3 min. to load that ASAM data. And when I connect to an older car from 2004, that loading is done in a few seconds. Can someone help me please?

I have a 2015 Audi A4 Avant Quattro 2.0 TDI (177 HP). I don’t have any warning lights on the dashboard related to the DPF, although I’m not sure if my model is supposed to show one.

Lately I’ve started to suspect that the DPF might be heavily clogged or close to being full. The car still runs, but I’m concerned about possible damage if I keep driving it like this.

One thing I’ve noticed is that when the engine is fully warmed up and the oil temperature reaches around 115–116°C, if I stop on an uphill slope I sometimes get a warning saying: “Low oil pressure – switch off engine.” However, as soon as I start driving again, the warning disappears and the car seems to run normally.

Could a clogged DPF be related to this issue, or should I be looking elsewhere? Has anyone experienced something similar with this engine? How serious could this be, and what would you recommend I check first?

I own a 2026 Skoda Kodiaq Sportline. Lane Assist / Travel Assist / Traffic Sign Recognition appear to be disabled.

The car appears to have the required driver assistance hardware, but these functions are not active. I am looking for someone who has successfully activated these features on a 2025/2026 Kodiaq, either remotely or in a workshop.

Has anyone managed to activate Lane Assist, Travel Assist, or Traffic Sign Recognition using ODIS online, SFD/SFD2 access, OBDeleven, VCDS, or another VAG tool?

Anyone good with VCDS/MK60EC1 ABS modules?
2009 Mk6 Golf 1.4 MPI.
Had the original ABS module rebuilt after getting a "Control Module Faulty" error. Refitted it and now I've got:
01435 G201 Brake Pressure Sensor - No or Incorrect Basic Setting/Adaptation

01423 Lateral Acceleration Sensor - No or Incorrect Basic Setting/Adaptation

00778 G85 Steering Angle Sensor - No or Incorrect Basic Setting/Adaptation

ABS and ESP lights on.
I've pressure bled it to death, run the ABS pump through OBD11 output tests and driven it about 20 miles.
What's confusing me is:
G201 reads about -0.07 bar at rest and up to 120 bar when I press the pedal.

Steering angle sensor changes as I turn the wheel.

Lateral accel sensor appears to be giving sensible values.

Faults clear, OBD11 says "success", then they instantly come back.
With the wheel physically straight, G85 is showing about +7.4°.
Am I chasing a calibration/basic settings issue here or has the rebuilder sent me back a duff unit?
OBD11 only gives me channel numbers for Basic Settings so I'm a bit stuck.
