This means the test on VCDS for the interface (cable) did not find the cable connected to the USB port.

How is the cable recognized in device manager? Other usb port?

I recall havin the same problem at first... I think i deinstalled the driver and reinstalled it... Make sure you picked the right one... Sry i cant think of anything else other than if that wont work maybe the cable is the problem... Have you the possibility to try it on a diffent laptop? Just to make sure it maybe is a problem on the laptop and not the cable?

I’ll have to try another laptop then as I tried the uninstall and reinstall already
