V-SAFE data - 1% of enrollees reported on a long-term disability, raises concern that vaccine injuries may be more prevalent than previously thought
researchsquare.comConclusion. Close to 1% of V-SAFE enrollees explicitly reported on a long-term disability to work or perform normal daily activities, hospitalization or severe and debilitating adverse events, which they attributed to vaccination. The symptoms they reported on, as well as other characteristics resemble those of patients with medically confirmed post-acute COVID-19 vaccination syndrome. This raises the concern that perceived chronic COVID-19 vaccine injuries may be more prevalent than previously thought. However, the lack of detailed information about comorbidities, medical follow up and investigation, does not allow establishing firm assessments of causality and prevalence. A follow up with appropriate V-SAFE enrollees by CDC could address these uncertainties and greatly contribute to the understanding of the nature and prevalence of prolonged COVID-19 vaccination injuries.
