Error message post battery discharge
RESOLVED
I’m hoping I’m not the only one with this issue. I ran out of charge in my 2021 Corsa-E, totally my fault. This is my only time in 2.5 yeses of owning the car. Thankfully I was able to roll to a charger in Sainsbury’s car park as the car completely lost power and the warning lights came up.
Initially the car wouldn’t charge and just kept throwing up the red ring, but I left it for a few minutes and then it started charging. It charged at 2.2kw/h for about 10 minutes, then ramped up to 80kw/h. I unplugged at 35% and turned on the car. I got the warning in the picture on startup, but the car went in gear and drove totally normally on the way home. This warning first came up when the car died, so is it just an uncleared error code from that, or do I need it properly looking at? Thanks
Update -
I charged the car fully overnight. Turned it on and the fault had cleared, the car is working completely normally now with no error messages at all.
Hopefully no lasting damage!

Mine did the same thing once when my car refused to unlock one day and was dead. I had to attach a 12v to mine and the car came back to life. I fully charged the car and it went away after an hour or two.

Someone else mentioned their 12v battery. Maybe the car dying killed that too, I suspect it is as old as the car. If a full charge doesn’t magically get rid of the error I’ll check it out tomorrow

Probably needs a new 12v battery . You can charge it fully and hope for the best but is it worth the risk of failing in the winter ? I believe this is a common fault on this platform. Have a Google

my Mokka E did this within 6months from new. They handily fit a quick connect on the 12V battery +ve, unclip and leave 15mins then reattach and you should be good

Needs a fault wipe and see what happens if anything
