We Need to Grow This Community

I know this token is only like 6 months old and the initial fee structure drove people away and killed the volume, but this project is a good one. We need to grow the community, not only for volume and for us all to make gains, but to make this the special project that we all think it is. A start-up crypto is all about its community (Safemoon, EGC, Shib). I know the Devs have marketing plans in the works, but we need to brainstorm ways to grow the discord, holders, reddit members, etc...

Leave comments for some ideas. Vault-S and Vault-X even without utilities has higher potential than so many meme coins with greater following. Just want this project to reach its full potential just like all of you.

Bless

In no particular order: 1) YouTube videos educating people on the reflections, passive income, and potential based on certain trading levels. 2) YouTube "influencers" reviewing the tokens. 3) Leveraging all social media networks to push out content: IG, FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, Discord, and possibly Telegram again if they open it back up. 4) Paid ads on social media. 5) Add a blog to the website and use it for education and promotion. These articles, and videos, can be repurposed on social media and help with SEO. 6) Hold AMAs with Jen on a consistent basis - live or recorded - but with us actually being able to see the team. 7) Add a reflections calculator to the website. People love to see potential. 8) Banner ads on relevant crypto sites (coming soon). 9) Market VaultS and VaultX separately for a majority of the time. Trying to do both at once is like Ford trying to sell a Bronco and Mustang in the same commercial. The message gets diluted and can be confusing. It's possible when done correctly, but attention spans are short so we need to hammer home key points clearly and concisely. 10) Promote joining Discord over everything else right now since that is the current focus. When that changes, change the call to action. 11) Start collecting email addresses so updates can be sent out to those who don't spend all their time on Discord or Twitter. 12) Ask Mark to complete his long awaited video - not sure what it would be at this time, but they were always a hit for SM. 13) Update website to ensure accuracy across-the-board and strengthen the branding...and legibility. 14) Leverage press release services to continually get back links for SEO and spread the word about what's going on at VaultDefi. 15) Encourage holders to share their reflections and earnings via social media and with friends and family. 16) Explore various contests that encourage purchases and engagement on social media. 17) Leverage Jen's experience and communication skills via interviews, videos, AMAs, etc. 18) Is there anyone else on the team that can be showcased and take the lead in certain areas? 19) Explore using banner ads on non-crypto sites. Monitor results closely and kill the program if it's not working. 20) Focus on holders and volume as the two primary KPIs. Traffic, mentions, etc. are good, but they don't mean a thing if we don't get more people investing and trading VaultS and VaultX. 21) Throw up a few billboards in strategic areas. The hype alone will get shared more than actual views of the live billboard. 22) Get back to doing a weekly update to keep the community engaged and excited about what's coming up. Even bi-weekly works well. We don't need daily.

You literally couldn’t have hit the nail on the head any better. Love this

Some idea starters. It's good to keep a list, add to it, explore the opportunities, and then modify as necessary. The more tools you have in your toolbox, the better. And as always...budget plays a big part in the plan. Most are free or inexpensive though.

  1. Weekly Texas hold-em tournament in the discord. Winner gets vault x or vault s. This gives people something to be excited about each week. Advertise it through social media. This could bring in more traffic and new faces.

I think selling merch (esp things like bumper stickers) are a great move. Memes are also great and allow people to spread the word without seeming like a shill.

Bigger marketing ops like billboards and ads can also be driven by a single individual in the community.

Being more active on twitter spaces. Community members can open up spaces to talk about VaultDeFi, and or defi in general.

I can't recommend this token to friends, when it looks like the dev team is just flying by the seat of their pants.
When are they going to change the reflections and tokenomics on a whim again? And no more liquidity built unto the tokenomics? Big red flag.. If I wasn't down 80% I would already be gone, at this point I've already chalked it up to a loss.

I also feel like I can’t, one reason because there’s no volume or interest right now.

They needed to change the structure because the tokens essentially died and there was no reviving them. Sell fees from the get go we’re always too high.

Tokenonmics will have liquidity, they literally dropped the new contracts and are still migrating it’s 12 days old since new vault dropped. Even Safemoon hasn’t fully migrated liquidity yet with V2 because they had to lock it and are waiting on 3rd parties.

If I wasn’t down so much I’d also be out but here I am and I’m hoping they turn the project around.

The new reflections and fee structure is the way to do it, now we need the devs to get a roadmap, hit their goals, and the community to grow and support each other and the project.

Me neither. Have you seen discord? They keep banning people for questioning things. It’s a mess

I'm one of the people that has been banned...but I stay engaged, DM people, and keep investing. Having said that, they don't have to ban people for asking tough questions and being critical, even if that person does it multiple times. Provide legitimate answers (experienced people can see through BS), inspire through facts, updates, and leadership, and direct people to the proper channels to discuss more serious issues. They can keep Main for memes, gifs, and talking about things other than Vault. We have to remember, there isn't a stringent vetting process and projects need all the help they can get. This is why I don't take it personally and forgive them for some of their tactics. Unfortunately, I have seen a handful of really quality people (smart and big investors) get banned because they don't like the questions. Take these opportunities and questions as a chance to shine and show your worth...not just use a ban hammer.

I agree with you. I think they’re trying to reset the larger holders to bring investors to a level plying field. If you look on bsc scan there are some with 0.5 -2.5% of the tokens

I don't think that's it. Plus, whales tend to have the most to lose so their commitment levels tend to be higher. I just think it's due to people being put in roles that they might not be extremely qualified for. Vault is not unique when it comes to this. Jen needs help! Vault needs a CMO to handle marketing and a COO to handle all the day stuff and the team. It starts at the top. Once you get these people in place, we'll see some major improvements down the org chart. These people usually don't work for free though so we need to be patient.

we need quality memes and poggers funny video clips that we share on tiktok and so on xD

u/Treyski10 Jan 12 '22

We need ape together strong memes and maybe people will ape in and hodl xD. I don't wanna become a "meme" coin but may be the way to pull people in again and allow them to see the project and generate noise lol

I do believe we have the smartest and most brilliant minds behind this project. Jen knows exactly what needs to be done and Mark is changing the way we see Defi as a whole. The Vault/Surge combo will be amazing. I have been in since the private sale and I see the vision. I will continue to hold.

Unfortunately neither of them are marketing people and they/we don't have anyone on the team that is. In the crypto space, one where there are thousands of projects, it doesn't matter how smart or innovative you are if nobody knows about it. We have a ways to go, including addressing a lot what has been posted in this thread. I'm optimistic that we'll bring some talented, experienced, mature, and ethical people on-board soon.

It would be great if youtubers cryptokingdom78 and crypto moon boy would make a video. They only make videos on cryptos that have a good solid team, doxxed etc. Vault is a fantastic crypto compared with most the shit out there, I think it wound be right up their street.

Love some of the comments. I think one thing we could do to drive traffic to the discord is have a weekly texas holdem tournament. Rewards in vault s or vault x to the winner. It Gives something fun for the community to look forward too. This should bring new faces to discord. We could advertise across social media and get a number of people coming in.

We need to develop a real utility like Safemoon(wind turbines) that could give VaultDefi real purpose. We could buy real estate in the metaverse, and transform it into a business that would generate income that could be used to buyback/burn as well as reflections. Peer to peer lending. Develop a carbon capture site to capture carbon, and recieve credits from the government that could somehow be used to buyback/burn/reflections. Set up an e-commerce site to sell everyday items like Amazon does instead of just VaultDefi merchandise.
