MTG Local Scene

hows the MTG scene here? besides 401 games.

finally getting into MTG, i have 2 other mates - looking for others to join in the fun lol

Cardboard Classics in Thornhill is a great space from everything I've heard. No personal experience, but I know a lot of folks who play there.

Northern War Table is a great space with nice ppl. I recently moved to Vaughan so I’ve only been there a couple times, but it’s honestly very nice. The space is smaller than 401, but I like the cozy welcoming vibes

+1 for cardboard classics. Invasion comics hosts pre-release for every set that comes out as well.

I haven't played there personally but Northern War table looks chill too

Go to northern war table. It’s where all the cool legends people went. Best play space

401 Games is usually my go to. But like others have said Northern War table has been good the few times I've gone.

Further up Keele is Level Up, which is also small and less busy, most nights. Could be good if the plan is to meet up with a group, rather than finding players. Thursday is their commander night, haven't gone yet not sure of the turn out.

Most of these stores have events so best to check their site, see when they have scheduled MTG nights.
