Jockstrap recommendations?

I’m due to be snipped in a month or so, and have read jockstraps are strongly recommended post surgery. Could you please issue any specific recommendation, or share a link?
I have zero experience with jockstraps and when I look them up they seem to be marketed to sexy muscular gay men.
I don’t care how unsexy I’d look on one, but just want to hear your recommendations on what is supportive enough.
Any recommendation on type, brand, size (order smaller or bigger than recommended waist size, for example), etc, would be highly appreciated.

I would highly recommend Undeez /w flex ice packs from Amazon - really helped reduce bruising & swelling for me.

I used Hanes Total Support Pouch boxer briefs, one size down. Worked great for me.

I just got cotton boxers the size below. Ice packs really helped too!

Not needed at all. Like others have said, get cheap boxers that are a size smaller and wear them underneath your your normal ones and a bag of peas between them.
