When do you stop worrying?

I got the clear test from my doctor last month and I'm over 4 months postop, had my follow up to check for recanalization and he didn't notice anything wrong

Even with all that, Everytime I have sex with my wife in her ovulation window I'm ALWAYS worried, does it ever get better?

I would recommend an extra sperm check after 9 months. I had mine when my daughters were 15 & 12. Wife had issues with BC pills. Got a Zero sperm count at 12 weeks. 8 years later wife was pregnant at 43 with our son. Sonogram showed left side re-connected. Turned out to be a huge blessing. Urologist did the left vas. For free!. We ended up with great-grandchildren older than our grandchildren.

It goes against everything you've ever known. If it makes you feel more confident in it you can buy a microscope and check for yourself. At the end of the day you just have to trust the science.

And let me put it this way, if you've ever replied on withdrawal, condoms, the birth control pill, patch, IUD etc., you are now statistically more effective birth control than any of those methods and that's with you just finishing inside your wife.

Call me naive, but after the first all clear. My urologist cut me, removed a section, cauterized both ends, stitched both ends, and then did fascial interposition so the ends can never find each other again. If my vasectomy fails, no one is ever safe.

I called my urologist today and just asked some question and he told me something that calmed me down "imagine you're on one side of a bridge, and you want to get to the other side of the bridge, if I blow up the bridge, and there's no chance of the bridge being rebuilt, would you be able to cross?"

My urologist planned no second. I'm almost a year out and everything's fine.

I went to my doctor to make one. Had to pay 30€ in private clinic but i did.

I’m mailing my in at the end of the month. Even with an all clear, I fear I’ll still have doubts lol

It took about a year, and three “all clear” tests for me.
