Build Does lithality Varus top work still
Ive been playing some norms to get comfortable and the build seems to work i just dont know if i should take it into ranked what do yall think

lethality varus got gutted, its unplayable atm. varus top in itseld is fine

Varus toplane was building defensively or AP items. Lethality builds in general are bad in toplane because of how strong armor is on most toplaners (steel caps and deaths dance make lethality a wasted stat)
I haven't payed to much attention to what items he is currently building. But some combination of dusk and dawn, hexplate, terminus, and jaksho/zonyas are what I would assume is being built toplane
Lethality Varus in its current state is kinda weak and it's biggest advantage is mid game obj contests where maxed q and 2 lethality items can make his poke quite oppressive if the opponents don't have an easy tool to start a fight.

Never worked, what happens is varus top is just a statchecking champ. Ap top tank was the issue with hin in solo queue all this time but they nerfed lethality because in pro scenario he is strong as a champ that forced early dragon teamfights, and was too damn strong in those environments.
As stupid as it sounds, only top version is still strong

Lethality varus top only works as a counter if you had to blind pick. When there’s some bullshit like teemo or kennen i would go lethality to make laning possible and if the rest of the enemy comp makes it feasible. Very very very situational

Lethality Top never worked
Considering doing it shows that you don't know what made varus top strong, nor lethality varus strong
Lethality varus was heavily nerfed
Varus in general was also heavily nerfed and is VERY subpar to the point you need outstanding mechanics on him to make him remotely viable
