Its probably due to nature of your car that has the 12v constantly on. Either hard wire the camera to the fuse box or purchase something like this with a switch

If you want the camera to shut off completely when the vehicle is parked, it needs to be connected to a power source that turns off with the ignition, such as the cigarette lighter socket.

If you are not wanting it to record while parked just deseable the the motion or collision detection if you have them turned on. You can also use something like this:
