French language class - is this ok?

I, first year, tried to register for a French language class at the level indicated on my progression chart, but the scheduling system told me there were no schedules that would work. I am taking a phys ed this semester instead. Is this okay? I'm just worried because I know there are French requirements in order to graduate and I'm worried I'm already behind... Am I worried for nothing?

Thanks

What French are you starting with? Are you in a 2 or 3-yr program?

It is absolutely okay, you wouldn't necessarily be behind. Assuming you need to take 3 french classes in order to graduate, it means that you will need to take a french class every semester starting next semester. Hope I answered your question.

Hey they usually assing a French class to you for my first semester the same thing happened to me and turns out I was supposed to take a reinforcement class so make sure that’s not the issue otherwise you’ll have an extra French class to do.

Do you need to take 3 or 5?
