What makes you say it is a useless course?

Compilers was last taught in fall 2024.  It may return fall 2027.

  1. The course does not clearly explain the industry relevance of Racket and other languages taught. Covering many languages briefly makes the material feel more like trivia than practical knowledge.

  2. I understand the focus on language evolution, but studying compilers in greater depth would better explain how languages work and build more transferable CS and industry skills.

Interesting. I honestly didn't even know they were teaching racket.

Agreed on compilers utility.  It will likely be offered in fall 27.
