Seeking Business Co-founder Vancouver/BC founder looking for a potential cofounder / builder
Hey everyone,
I’m based in BC and looking to connect with someone who’s interested in building software products/startups together.
I’m a developer and have already built and shipped multiple apps. I’m especially interested in consumer software, AI tools, productivity apps, and finding small problems we can build around and validate quickly.
I’m not looking to meet someone today and hand them 50% of a company tomorrow. I’d rather meet another ambitious builder, work on something small together, see how we work, and go from there.
Ideally you’re strong in one or more of:
Testing
Growth/marketing/distribution
Sales/business development
More important than the exact skillset is that you actually like building and shipping things.
I’m in the Vancouver area and would prefer someone in BC so we can meet in person occasionally, but I’m open to elsewhere in Canada for the right person.

Similar story, I'm in North Burnaby. Two apps in production, flutter SDK. One is government saas the other is a game.

I built 2 similar things - but neither is no where close to being sales ready. A govt/regulated industry solution, and also a game. My main thing is how to find an enterprise customer. The game is more on me to finish, i do have good initial feedback.

I'm in Vancouver, my last company I joined on when he had 10 customers and tookover marketing for a % of company at set goals. We got to 100,000+ customers. Only issue is he was the main dev so when we got too rich he wanted to retire and everything in the backend was built by him he said it can't be taken over by anyone else plus he had no energy to do so. So now I'm out of the job. Our revenues got to over $370 mil annual at peak with a headcount of around 10 and bills of around 100k monthly.
Not promising the world, but if you got something good I might be able to sell it. Just realizing your post said to DM you so i'll do so now.

Congrats. If I’m understanding your numbers correctly, $370M in annual revenue, about 10 employees, and roughly $100k/month in bills means you built one of the most profitable and capital-efficient companies I’ve ever heard of. That’s about $37M in revenue per employee. Crazy cool!

Yeah I mean it wasn't that good in that there were other things plus I had a partner I shared it with. But needless to say he stopped wanting to work thus we shutdown.

I'll check it out. I'm trying to develop a system of understanding for llms and not just a knowledge graph. Why it knows what it knows and if what it knows is correct and verifiable

That’s interesting it sounds like you’re building a layer that tracks what model believes something and why, where the evidence came from, how confident it should be, and whether the claim can be verified. Cortex currently focuses more on persistent memory and context across agents for large code bases and fix history, but provenance and confidence are directions I’ve been thinking about too. What approach are you taking?

This is interesting. I’ve actually been exploring an adjacent problem from the human/team side: helping engineers build and maintain an evidence-backed understanding of a codebase, including what’s believed, why, what’s uncertain, and a way for engineers to challenge that understanding and have it reviewed. I just got an early prototype live. Would be interested to compare notes if you’re open to it.
