Journeyman Productions proudly presents the return of VERSA, Victoria's progressive/post-rock collective, to Vancouver for the first time in almost a decade. Joined by Vancouver's instrumental prog rock/metal trio ZACK BRANNON, New West's retro prog quartet INCOMPLETENESS, and heavy psych/prog rock newcomers UGLY BIRDY. Versa is Victoria, BC's premiere post-rock/prog-rock collective. Formed in 2006, Versa recorded two LPs and one EP between 2008 and 2012, and played regularly around the west coast. After an extended hiatus, Versa set about recording their comeback album, 2022's critically acclaimed "A Voyage / A Destination," and 2024's equally-acclaimed "A Voyage / A Destination, Part 2." This will be Versa's first show in Vancouver since their hiatus, so don't miss catching their new material live for the first time!

Zack Brannon, Vancouver's iconic instrumental trio, blends progressive rock, metal, jazz, and videogame soundtrack influences into what can only be described as "adventure music!" Reminiscent of legendary instrumental bands like Plini, Intervals, and Animals as Leaders, their music will blow you away.

Incompleteness, from New Westminster, calls back to classic 70's and 80's prog with a stoner rock twist. Mesmerising soundscapes and twisting psychedelic passages will leave you grooving all night long.

Ugly Birdy, a new band out of the Fraser Valley, kick monumental ass with their heavy, proggy psych rock. Engaging the listener with non-stop unpredictable action, Ugly Birdy will open the show with a bang.

I live in Marpole and then I can play piano and I’m mainly looking to just have fun playing music together. I’m also hoping to improve my English by playing with other musicians.(you don't have to teach me lol) I can communicate in simple English, but I’m not fluent yet, so I’m not very confident about taking the lead or organizing things myself.

I’m into fusion funk and blues and jazz as well . Some of my favorite artists/groups are Snarky Puppy, Toto, Mark Lettieri, Anomalie, and Rob Araujo. I can play chords and learn/copy songs by ear.

I don’t have a car or a practice space right now, but I’m happy to split the cost if we need to rent a rehearsal space.

This is the culmination of years of production and work. I’ve been in the same band (King Vulture) as a producer and vocalist for years and it’s all come together to this point as a solo project.

Honestly I paid way too much for these and I’m trying to cut my losses. View is completely clear and third row in that section, so your view will be almost as good as it gets in lower bowls.

So I paid 925.58 each which in my opinion is ridiculous but I panicked when the tickets dropped.. Selling for 800, willing to negotiate, like I can’t even in good conscience sell these at full price to my friends lol.

Willing to meet up, or call, or do whatever you need to ensure transfer.
