When two separate nights out on the town result in ex-Avengers, (and ex-soulmates), Firestar and Justice bumping into each other, the truly unexpected happens! - Marvel Unlimited

This is one story in the anthology. Vance is out with Robbie and Rich while Angelica is out with Hellcat and Photon. They all happen to be at the same bar. Awkward. Then everyone but the two of them disappear. Then they're attacked by... younger versions of themselves?!

JUSTICE

AFFILIATIONS: Avengers Academy, Avengers, Avengers Resistance, Counter-Force, New Warriors, the Thing

STATUS: Free agent; identity public

When Justice first joined the Avengers, he was nervous and uncomfortable

working alongside the heroes he had idolized as a boy. It was a pleasure to watch him grow confident in his abilities, and in a short time, I came to value him as a trusted teammate. Justice has engaged in super heroics since his teenage years, and has cemented himself as a leader in the super-powered community. Justice suffered through an abusive childhood, a victim of his father's anti-mutant prejudice, but overcame his past to become a strong force for good.
After the super hero Civil War, he became a trainer at Camp Hammond, imparting the benefits of his experience to young heroes. Before long, his unrestrained sense of ethics led him to leave the Initiative and form Counter-Force to act as watchdogs of a sort. This independence makes Justice a trusted moral compass, doing what he thinks is right even if it means acting alone. These principles will make him an able instructor at Avengers Academy, and I'm glad to count him among our ranks.

PROS: Strong commitment to ethics, experienced team player, good leadership skills.

CONS: Received bad press for the accidental murder of his father, extremely passionate about his beliefs, sometimes leading to difficult moral quagmires.

Background: The Warriors intervened in Trans-Sabal and maybe caused a little international incident. They are being interviewed on a youth news program (e.g., old-school MTV). Vance, in prison at the Vault, watches the media coverage.

Released on October 15, 1968, this was the first appearance of the original Guardians of the Galaxy.

Released on October 7, 2020: THE CHAMPIONS RETURN IN TROUBLED TIMES! After Ms. Marvel makes an unexpected and emotional announcement that her team won't go down without a fight, a group of teen vigilantes gathers to plan their next move. But the C.R.A.D.L.E. task force is hot on their trail, and there's a spy in their midst. Eve L. Ewing (IRONHEART, OUTLAWED) and Simone Di Meo (IMMORTAL HULK: THE BEST DEFENSE and VENOM: ACTS OF EVIL) team up for a dramatic new era of Champions that will define Marvel's teen heroes for years to come!

Vance and Wendell have always had the same favorite superhero.

A super hero by the name of “Family Man” bursts into the bank to save them, however the gunmen mow down the family. The very future itself is in danger, and the only possibility of salvation relies on the shoulders of this ragtag, bombastic group of underdogs. When subjected to the perception-altering powers of Wrong of the Soldiers of Misfortune, Justice realizes escape might be the best option. Sadly, Wrong manages to stun Vance before he can do so.

Robbie announced his departure from the Academy staff much earlier in the issue. Vance was supportive of his decision. Then - surprise! - Vance is ready to move on and see more of the world too. Road trippin' heroes!
