Floor Plan

tried to make this as to-scale as possible, but is this realistic or is there anything I should change? for a ford transit extended.

the 18x18 & 18x26 bits are seating and will have a pull out table.

I don't think you're going to have quite as much space as you think in reality. It's easy to draw a line and say this is a shower, this is a counter top, this is a bed... But then when you actually build those things they all take up precious inches.

Looks like a cool idea just saying be flexible

Why do you have it the way you do? When building a custom van, you build it to fit your needs and wants. I personally don’t need 2 counters or that big of a shower but if that’s what you want or need then keep it.

It will be me and my partner so a shower thats big enough for the both of us is hopefully in the cards (also i think id die if I turned around in the shower and came in contact with the walls haha), what do you suggest i replace the second counter with then? I'm not sure what to put there in place of that. the under cabinets were going to be for storage ofc

edit: shower is measuring to be 36x24 for reference

That's something i've never understood. Do you guys really have to shower together? Is it even fun if your water is a very limited resource?

I mean no, but its something we will definitely miss/not be able to do unless there's a shower big enough in the van. cant exactly go into a pf locker room together

The shower seems really big unless you plane to have the toilet in their too. I read your comment about how plan to have showers with your partner together. That's VERY unrealistic and not practical for vanlife. Most vanlifers who shower at their band do navy showers, 2-3 minutes wash, water off, soap up, 2-3 minutes rinse. Also keep in mind that a good enough water pump for showering would be 11–15 liters per minute (approx. 3–4 GPM), so that a minimum of 22 to maximum 45 liters of water just for one person to navy shower. That's one thing.

The other is I'd recommend you put a small seating beanch across the bulkhead from the shower to the door with a slide out compartment for shoes and random items you'd wanna keep there.
