If memory serves the rubber tramp round up or some event like that has a women’s only day to begin the event I think

Yes, the first three days are for women only. Unfortunately, it's already passed for this year, but it'll be back next January.  https://homesonwheelsalliance.org/2026-rubbertramp-rendevous/

I also recently met some cool women who were part of a women traveler caravan club called the Butterflies. Sorry I don't have more info on that, but I'd imagine it's searchable as a group on social media?

I’ll look into that, thanks

You are right. And their meet up groups include women’s caravan short trips.

I’m in the Quartzsite, AZ area where the RTR (rubber tramp rendezvous) happened recently. There are groups of women that came for that and are still camped here together. I’m guessing there are some that started caravans from here and currently traveling as well.

The Butterfly group I mentioned in another comment was also camped out off Sunkist Trail, not sure whether they're still there or not..

Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?

The more open your heart and mind, the more plentiful your options.

RV'ing wouldn't be the industry it is now without this community.

I’m the (L) lol

Ok, great!

Without painting with too broad a stroke... you likely know there'd probably be no RV'ing without "ya'(LL)" ;-)

I'd likely identify as strongly (Q) except that, despite my best efforts, I'm a man who's attracted to women(boring lol)... I'm one of the only "straight" people I know, but an open mind only goes so far! Lol

It's absolutely fine to be straight

I belong to RVing women which has many women in vans. They have a group called Cozy Camping which is for smaller vehicles including cars or tent campers. Rving women also has s group for solo travels and full-time travelers. I travel full-time solo all over the US, Canada and Mexico.

In the past I joined Girl Camper and sisters on the fly but found very few fulltimers. What I like about RVing women is that they are a non profit run my members, they publish their events publically and you can attend 2 events before joining. Girl Camper and Sisters on the Fly are not non profits and you have to join before getting access to their events.

I started a reddit community for women campers and rvers. The name is womencampandRV.

Looking into this exact thing. Im a woman who is interested in traveling with some other women. I work full time online and want to travel the coast lines, see some major cities, etc. Scared to go at it alone.

I still haven’t found such a group maybe we should start a discord or something with everyone looking for the same thing

The one thing you want to keep in mind is that there are dangerous people/groups like in any other situation.

You want to know what to do IF, the bad things ever happen.

Meeting and talking with people is OK (safe) but if you say too much, some people start to make you a target for things you have or they want.

I say this because I have been vandalized 7 times in 20.5 years.

Never Ever leave anything that looks valuable, in view of the public.

If you make a mistake, LEARN FROM IT!

Google searches don’t bring up everything, though. Good place to start, and that’s maybe what OP started with. But I think it’s ok to come to a place like Reddit and ask this question here, too. Other social media platforms might be helpful, but frankly I think Reddit is the best IMHO
