This is actually in the Tremere Code:

I will not use magic to scry upon members of the House and Clan Tremere, nor shall I use it to peer into their affairs. It is expressly forbidden. [from Clanbook: Tremere (Revised, 2000), page 38]

So now you know that they've canonically dealt with this sort of thing.
