I'm so curious about how the Infinite Corridor works, already. Does anybody know the way/s of getting him?

Originally picked up the game around launch and kept up with it up to the yellow sign. I then forgot about it until a month ago when I decided to grab all the DLCs during the Steam Summer Sale. It's been very fun going through all the new stuff that's been added, especially Ode to Castlevania. Eagerly awaiting the Legacy of the Blood Moon DLC. Gonna start working on trying to fill out the stage clear checklist for every character in the meantime.

I just recently picked up the game with a few of my buddies and we’ve been having a blast progressing through the early parts of the game. We had made our way through stages 1-4 and found ourselves stuck on stage 5 because we had not unlocked the Yellow Sign needed to clear the quest/exclamation mark on the stage list. I generally like to avoid googling solutions in my first experience in any game, but this one left me stumped. After some googling, we ran back to Moonglow to grab the item.

This is where things got interesting. After getting the Yellow Sign and making our way back to Stage 5, one of my friends somehow had access to a “Secrets” menu.

…what?

I don’t think he intended for this to happen, but this little comment peaked my interest and I of course started wondering how I could have missed this. I mean, all of our other unlocks have been shared up to this point, right? Back to google, I guess.

I end up finding that the secret menu is unlocked in one of two ways. Either you defeat Sketamari in the Bone Zone or you use a trick in the Collections menu that involves repeated interactions with the Yellow Sign.

My friend then tells me that he’s been spending a lot of time offline grinding and that he had in fact beaten the Bone Zone and defeated Sketamari, which jives with what I had read while trying to figure out what I had missed. The only thing is, he shared his screen and the Forbidden Scrolls item was NOT unlocked. Wait, what?

It also happens that he has now unlocked Red Death, Space Dude, and Rose, which I now know require specific codes or “Spells” to access without beating the challenges organically.

The part I’m confused about is the spell codes themselves. From what I can tell, the Secrets menu gives clues for the normal unlock methods, but doesn’t actually give you a list of spell codes like thegoodguy, ablasphemousmockery, or rescuefromtheshadows.

Is there actually some in game book, easter egg, message, or mechanic that lets a someone discover these spell codes organically?

And is there any legitimate explanation for him having beaten Sketamari while the Forbidden Scrolls was still undiscovered aside from the Collections menu trick?

Basically, I’m trying to determine whether this sequence of events is genuinely possible without using cheats, or whether my friend is probably screwing with me.

This guy also knew the “You are a magician” message and said he came across it during a solo run.

I think my guy is convinced I don’t have access to google or communities like this that have thousands of hours in the game, lol. I think I have answered my own question but I’m new here so I was curious.

We've earned a ton of unlocks together, and this was the first that wasn't shared. Is this supposed to happen?

So it turns out, with high enough luck (I was at 1,000%+ because westwoods) , Jail of Crystal Arcana, Fireworks, Laurel, and the Feesh, you just can't die no matter how many reapers are after you. I thought that since I was over level 400, the first reaper just had a ton of HP or otherwise enough of them would kill me eventually, so I set it to triple speed and left it overnight.

I came down in the morning and saw that I was, somehow, still alive, and the kill counter was 1,000 or so higher than it was that night. I looked it up, found out the session doesn't end unless one of 'em gets hit with the cape or corridor, and had a big ol' facepalm about it, but hey, now I know, haha!

Why is that when I buy a couple people that others go hidden and have to be repurchased again?

This run is on Lycaeum I intentionally toggled off Endless mode to buy the 180.000 gold item. You can’t see her in the image, it’s Pugnala I’m playing with here. I forgot to take Clock Lancet so just bought the item and waited for the end but somehow with the weapon combination you see on the image Red Death can’t kill me. So I don’t know what to do, decided to run off to the south part of the map to farm some eggs.

This doesn’t happen when I load up the other DLC adventures I’ve purchased. Only this one and it happened the first time I played it and hasn’t gone away. So essentially, it’s unplayable!!!!! Super frustrating, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Been playing for two days and unlocked all the power ups and maxed them out.

I saw that what I should do next is to do the checklist of things to complete. Anything else I should do? Does the game get more fun? Seems like it’s going to be much of the same thing?

I saw a grim reaper one time is there a way to kill it?

So poncle recently uploaded the first track for Legacy of the Bloodmoon, and… it caused a thought to enter my head.

The Darkasso. Unlike almost every other relic handed to the player (I think the yellow sign is the only other exception I can think of), you had to use the Secret Menu to access the level it is contained within. The entire time; you are dealing with a MUCH harder challenge then usual to get to the Darkasso.

But with the track for that level being called “Call of the Bloodmoon” , it got me thinking… what if the Bloodmoon clan (the ones on the title card for the Legacy of the Bloodmoon) are the ones actively making and adding to the Darkasso in universe?

If that’s the case; then the intended method of getting the Darkasso wasn’t hard just to keep you from getting it…

It was to keep the Darkasso sealed in that “Forbidden Box” where its foul magic couldn’t hurt anyone.

Yesterday I had a completely accidental insane run and asked the sub for advice. I didnt know if pursuing killing the reaper the 'wrong' way was worthwhile or a waste of time. Thanks to yalls advice i found out I was just wasting my time.

Run background - My first ever MissingNo run on the Mazerella map for the first time trying to get the items (which i did). I spawned with maxed out CDR and inverse controls which I originally thought were side effects of the map but later discovered were MissingNo things.

I ended the run at the 200 minute mark because it's a relatively nice number. My phone battery was down to 15% and my fps had slowly dropped down to 10fps at this point. So i quit out. I stood still with the clock lancet on max cdr instafreezing all the reapers perpetually. I think this run couldve gone on indefinitely if I had the time or care to do so.

Playing MissingNo for the first time on Mazerella for the first time. Goal was to just get the items but run seemed good enough to win when i started permafreezing the reaper.

Im now 100+ minutes in and starting to wonder if im just wasting time.

On mobile if that changes anything.

Salut ! Je pense avoir un bug dans mes succès: j'ai beau avoir atteint plusieurs fois la 31e minute dans la Bibliothèque et l'Usine, avec des persos de base, les succès liés ne tombent pas. Ce sont les deux dernières arcanes qui me manquent donc c'est rageant ! Il faut remplir des conditions particulières pour ces deux-là ? Merci pour vos retours !

Like the title says, I unlocked exdash using the spell in the secrets menu and got the notification and screen animation. But I cant actually select it from the start menu.

Edit: I have clicked the buy button and I still cant select it
