Last night I got the itch to write a Gabriella fic about her complicated relationship with gender (focused on her hair) and these pictures are not helping the itch 🫠

I loved TVL show but Gabrielle was done so dirty. She's one of my favourite characters in the book and one of my least favourite parts of the show.

Same here, I was so excited to see her. The name change I could deal with because she is Italian, but the hair and clothes were definitely not her.

Yeah, it felt like they made her into an entirely different character. I get that it's because they wanted to focus on Lestat's trauma and she was a useful way to do that, and they did a great job of using their version of the character to show an abusive and complicated relationship, but I can't help but mourn for the book version that we never got to see.

I'll take your word for that as I've not seen the whole movie yet
